The Section of Neurosurgery is based at the Health Sciences Centre and Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. We proudly offer adult and pediatric care with a highly talented and dedicated team of 10 clinical faculty, who have comprehensive subspecialty expertise in Neurosurgery, including: Spine, Pediatrics, Epilepsy, Cerebrovascular, Neuro-oncology, Skull Base surgery, Cranial Nerve Disorders, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, Stereotactic & Functional (including Neuromodulation) and Peripheral Nerve. In particular, members in the Section annually perform over 1,000 neurosurgical procedures, including over 150 pediatric-specific procedures and approximately 250 Gamma Knife treatments.
